Bella Vita Jewelry has certainly seen some changes since it first hit the scene. From a one-woman outfit (Brandy McNair, yours truly) operating out of a 350-sq. ft. carriage house in Hillcrest (where I lived and worked) to trade shows in Atlanta and New York City to, finally, a brick-and-mortar store in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, Bella Vita has experienced an absolutely incredible amount of growth over the last few years. It's not just me anymore... I couldn't have done all this without putting together a great team, and I want to take a little time to introduce you to them.
Megan Choate - Megan joined us in Summer of 2015 and is dominating as my production assistant. She came to Bella Vita with jewelry making experience and continues to wow me with her wire wrapping skills. Megan's days often consist of making jewelry all day to keep our designs in stock for web sales, wholesale orders, and for our shop and our retail shows. I think she is cool with that though! She is also cross trained to be our shop girl on Thursdays.
Riley Khoury - Riley was hired in Fall of 2014 and helped me get the retail shop open. She currently works as our Shop Assistant but pretty much has a hand in all things Bella Vita. She helps assemble our chains, polish charms, and keeps the shop nice and tidy. You can find Riley in the shop Fridays and Saturdays.
Amanda Potter Cole - Amanda and I have been friends for 18 or so years now. We met when we worked at Crescent Moon Beads in Eureka Springs back in High School... Amanda is a wealth of knowledge and helps us with all things related to our website, social media, press outreach, etc. If she doesn't know how to do something, she learns it quickly. I couldn't be happier to have her with me!
And since we have a lot of new followers, fans, and friends... This is me, Brandy Thomason McNair, the visionary/designer/founder of Bella Vita Jewelry. I've been making jewelry for 23 years now and Bella Vita is beginning it's 8th year of business. I started making jewelry around age 10, gained a job at Crescent Moon Beads at 14, started selling my jewelry in Jr. High all through High School. I took a break from jewelry making to pursue a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas in Interior Design. After working a couple of unfulfilling Design jobs, I started Bella Vita in 2008. Flash forward 8 years, several part time jobs, and a couple of moves, Bella Vita is my full time (and more) job. I couldn't do what I do without the support and encouragement of my friends and family and this wonderful Team!
